It was inevitable.  ESPN have the rather unfortunate idea to put their commentators at a desk ON THE PITCH during the warm up to the game they are covering.  Professional footballers are renowned for their banter, and also can be pretty accurate with a dead ball (sometimes).  Put the two together, put a much hated ex-player behind said desk, and well…….all I can say is “shame it wasn’t that dick Robbie Savage they got……
