With Marie up in Yorkshire for the weekend, I was geared up for a quiet weekend. But then a Micah illness meant that Rosie needed to be found somewhere else to stay for the weekend. She ended up at Dad’s, and by a natural extension ended up at mine on the Saturday.
After a trip into the city, I gave her a choice of what to watch. She started with “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” from my Sky box, but gave up after only three minutes – deeming it “too scary”. I was quite enjoying it. The only other film suitable for her on the box was “The Chronicles of Narnia – The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” and she didn’t want to watch that again – she didn’t enjoy it at the cinema. So I gave her Carte Blanche of what to choose from my Blu-ray shelf, and she chose this film.
